One of the main goals of the Northwest Explorer is the development of web applications
and web services that extract meaningful information from available data and deliver
that information to those who can use it towards promoting the sustainability
of land, water and other resources in the Pacific Northwest.
This section of the Explorer features a growing collection of web applications that do just that by integrating
data from current and past Pacific Northwest projects. Some of the applications
will simply reformat existing data into a more useful and user-friendly format.
Other applications will merge data from multiple projects to help better understand
complex relationships or answer newly posed questions.
We hope that as this collection of tools grows, decision-makers will use them and
providing suggestions for improvements and new tools.
